Jon is one of the most inspiring leaders that Empower Network has produced. No Hype just Solid Marketing. Listen to him speak on the Inner Circle Audios. I listen to Chris Rochleau interview him over and over and each time I gain new insight into this business.
He never pitches anyone from his warm market. In fact, if he is at a party and someone asks him to tell them about his business he will refuse and tell them to look him up on Google.
He does not mix his personal life with his online life. Awesome! By the way, he is part of the Prosperity Team that you will be part of as well when you click the yellow button on this page and join our team.

Reblogged From Interview with Jon Mroz!!
Hey there!
We sat down with one of Empower Network’s Million dollar earners
to bring you some inside information and success strategies to ‘the
man behind the million.’
-
Can you give us three interesting or little known facts about yourself?
A: I was a pro skateboarder at the age of 15, but retired due to too many broken bones and injuries.
I used to be the marketing director for several nightclubs and toured the world as a DJ until I was around 27.
Although I live in Florida, I am a home sick Eskimo. I love the cold weather and am most active during the winter season.
-
What are your hobbies?
A: I love snowboarding, quality music (DJing), and traveling
-
Do you have a business/life mantra, motto, theme or tagline or saying?
A: Two. “Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.” – Winston Churchill.
Second, “becoming an entrepreneur is about living a few years of your life like most won’t, so that you can live the rest like most can’t.”
-
Can you tell us about your family?
A: I currently live with my girlfriend, Christa. She is an amazing aerialist, and an incredible supporter of our dreams and goals.
-
What motivates you?
A: Freedom and the opportunity to impact other people’s lives, helping them to achieve their dreams and goals.
-
Who or what inspires you?
A: Success in others, and what they have done to accomplish their dreams. I love hearing other people’s stories of how they came to be and what made them who they are today. It inspires me to try harder with everything in life.
-
Why do you believe you’ve been so successful?
A: Determination, and the fact that I will never allow myself to quit anything until I have achieved what I came there to do. I also had a strong “why” in place, ensuring that I would never allow myself to settle for anything less.
-
What difficult challenges have you had to overcome and persevere in your life and/or career?
A: Constant struggles, obstacles, and a daily grind that I thought I would never get out of. It all came down to working smarter and systematizing everything that I possibly could.
-
How long have you been an affiliate with Empower Network?
A: I joined about a month after Empower Network launched so November 2011.
-
What drew you to Empower Network?
A: David Wood was a good friend of mine. He flew to my house to discuss Empower Network before it launched. I knew what he was trying to accomplish before he created it, and I was sold the instant I connected with his vision.
-
When did you know you would be successful with Empower Network?
A: When David Wood discussed with me what he was creating. Well before Empower Network existed.
-
What do you do differently than most network marketers?
A: I have a VERY different style of marketing than most. I really like to stay behind the scenes for the most part. Before I do any type of marketing, I ask myself if it will continue to serve my purpose for years to come, or if it’s just temporary. I like to automate and systematize everything possible. I want my efforts to work for myself and my team for years to come.
-
Can you tell us a little about your team?
A: Sure, I have currently enrolled a little over 2,150 people and currently hold the number one spot for all time total sign ups. I have an extensive training platform and marketing system built for my team, and most of my training is based on automation as well.
We have developed some of Empower Network’s top earners and producers with several of them on the all time top 10 leaderboards, and even more popping up on the monthly and weekly boards.
There are so many in our industry that preach about freedom, but our team truly tries to live it by automating the marketing and training process while having a life, but we also have amazing support communities that give that personal touch when you need it.
-
What about Empower Network do you enjoy?
A: So many things. I personally have experienced a lot of success before Empower Network existed, through blogging. It’s great to know that you can learn from the best in this field. In addition, I have never been part of a community like EN. I have never seen people unite like they do at EN. I truly believe that there is a culture here that you can’t experience anywhere else.
-
Where were you when you crossed the million dollar mark?
A: I think I was actually on vacation in Ibiza at the time.
-
Now that you’re a million dollar earner, what’s next?
A: I am currently working on several different entrepreneurial ventures (not in the network marketing niche). I plan to continue my efforts within EN, but focus much more of my time working closer with my team and my top earners.
I have found that what truly makes me happy is impacting the lives of others so if I can help others achieve their goals, and they can move on to help even more, then I feel that I have accomplished my goals.
-
What words of wisdom do you have for others in Empower Network?
A: Go after your goals. Be sure to have a strong “why” as to your reasoning for what you are doing. Be sure NOT to include any monetary reasoning in your why. It must be deeper.
Once I stopped chasing the money and started chasing my true reasoning is when I truly started to experience success.
-
And those not yet involved with Empower Network?
A: I would recommend the same. Find what you enjoy, and make a living out of it.
-
How has your involvement with Empower Network changed your life?
A: Before you can be successful in anything in life, you have to be in the right frame of mind. For me personally, I have always been on a quest of personal development. Empower Network not only helped me with mindset issues that I had been struggling with previously, but it also propelled me into other ventures that I likely would never have succeeded in until I conquered the mindset issues I had prior to becoming involved in EN.
-
And your family? We are all living much more comfortably. My parents, sister and girlfriend never have to worry about financial concerns. We do what we like, when we like, but responsibly and with a sense of discipline 🙂
-
And your community? i.e. How have you gotten involved in your community, local charities and philanthropic initiatives that you previously weren’t able to do so?
I have always been a huge music enthusiast but previously hadn’t been able to contribute to our scene the way that I wanted to. Since my success with Empower Network, I have opened a recording studio and help local artists get the recognition and experience they need to take their skills to the next level. I am currently expanding on this now. I donate to several charities to help feed the homeless during the holiday seasons, my girlfriend and I have sponsored a Tibetan monk and we are currently planning on spending more of our free time to help out, not just donating, actually serving those in need. Whether that be at hospitals or soup kitchens we enjoy the “hands on” aspect of it.
-
What advice do you have for others in the Empower Network who want to achieve what you have?
Two things. First, I found success, when I lost all my excuses. Next time you find yourself struggling to make ends meet, rather than doing whatever you can to make a buck, take a step back and ask yourself. What can you do to provide more value in other people’s lives. I know that this can be very difficult, especially when working from a place of desperation you may be trying to pay your bills. It’s going to be tough, but stop pitching people! No one likes to be sold anything. Instead, find it within you to truly come from a place of purely giving.
Next is learn. Educate yourself on the industry. If you are of no value to others, it’s likely that others will not join you, or purchase from you. Apply what you learn, and then give back and teach others what you have learned. The income will follow. Your income is a direct reflection of the amount of value you provide to your customers.
-
Knowing what you know now, what might you have done differently in the past? If you could start over tomorrow, what would you avoid doing that wasn’t productive? Within Empower Network? Outside Empower Network?
I truly feel that just about everything that I went through was an extremely important learning experience. Sure, there were TONS of things that I wasted TONS of time on, mostly looking for a shortcut to success, like buying traffic from traffic brokers, doing traffic exchanges, buying the “next hottest software that automates the world,” you name it. Fortunately, I was smart enough to stop searching for the shortcuts, and start putting the time in. Believe me,I failed A LOT. But then again, wasn’t it Thomas Edison that said – “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that don’t work”?

Anything else you want to add or say to Empower Network blog readers?
What you have here with Empower Network is something special. I’m sure I mentioned this earlier, but my first bit of success came from blogging. I strongly feel that blogging about what I learned, when I learned it, was a HUGE factor to my success. It forced me to dive deeper into my own questions I had about specific marketing strategies and in turn cemented these strategies into my daily marketing practices. Whether you blog on an EN blog, or on your own blog, I feel that blogging (especially during the early learning phases), is VERY important to your success. The added bonus of learning from the top bloggers on the planet as member of EN surely doesn’t hurt though.
Finally, whatever your goals are, have fun with it. Find your passion, and make a career out of it. People have told me that in order to be successful in this industry, I would need to learn to speak to the masses from stage. They said I had to write e-books, and sell to people on social media. NONE of that interests me. And as I sit here answering questions to this “millionaire interview”, I can proudly say that I reached this level of success by doing it my way. You see, while there are ethical and unethical ways to market, there really is no right or wrong way to do it. The beauty about marketing is that marketing in general is an artform. So as an artform, my question to you is, how will you choose to “create” your future?
Hope you enjoyed this insider interview!
Appreciate you,
