    One of the worst lessons I learned early on, in my business, well there are two really that stick out. I will cover them here.

    1) All customers are your customers because they can not figure out how to do what your products do on their own. They are always searching for a solution. This is good, as you know they have a problem you can solve that looks like this:

    1) They are in pain
    2) They are afraid they will be in pain soon if they do not figure out how to fix the problem they are in.
    3) They stand to gain a great deal if they can get certain results.

    I learned this from my mentors, Dan Kreutzer and Robert Lambert of The Samurai Business Group. They turn great, complex sales professionals into legends. Awesome people! My problem is when I found them my agency was just getting started and the selling or helping them buy was not the issue. I needed to find something to sell

I needed to find something to sell that, was of value to this new market I had grown into, made up of Fortune-level companies, and I needed to catch up to my agents in their marketing skills. I found what I was looking for.

    First one above, is hard to do as my agents are Silver and Gold Effie award winners. I may never catch upto their multi-million dollar results…well actually I will and I’ll show you how below.

    The second one, yep! I found the best products and services to help people buy and it was in the sales and marketing space so it was perfect for me, and it included helping me grow as an executive leader, so that was a bonus for me and it will be for you too if that is important to you.

    So back to your customer. They will buy from you as long as they trust you can help them. As their business grows they will run into new problems. Never think, like I did that it is one gig and done. I cut my nose off to spite my face and I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN.

    The only difference between you and I is I have made thousands of mistakes more than you have. My vision for you is that you make your mistakes faster than I did, and learn from them quickly, or just get the answers from me and don’t go through all that pain, life is too short.
