I have hired. I would never be so foolish to say that I have the skills of a marketing director or CMO, yes both came looking to me for jobs, when things got bad in 2008.
That was when I was told of a huge marketing shift that was about to happen to traditional ,marketing and they were right. It did, but I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to find an article that said,
“in times of recession build your company bigger, get smarter learn something new”
So I did I started to learn Internet marketing in 2008, struggled until 2013 when I found this company. I bought ALL IN( meaning I bought all the core products like a masters level education) and I got to work, with their core products. I started using them full time. I blogged over 550 times or more as I started losing track at about 500. Now getting on the front page of Google legitimately is not hard.
I also learned a ton about:
1) Sales Psychology
2) Paid Marketing
3) Network Marketing
4) Affiliate Marketing
5) Something I will call Stealth Marketing( as me about this in the comments or join and I will share it with you. 6) I learned about the Wild West that is the Internet
7) I learned a ton about myself
That last one was the best part. I learned that I really have learned a ton as a business owner for 22 years. It is impossible to be in business that long and not learn a ton. But, it was this amazing group of young marketers that I met, young men and women alike that really impressed me with how much I had been missing without this knowledge.
The future is looking very bright.
