Lessons Learned From Mentors

This is a what Melissa Knecht said to me when I asked how I could meet more leaders.

She said, and I am paraphrasing here, the leaders will find you when you are ready to be found, meaning when you produce results(sales as you are in business always remember that) and become the person that leaders want to be around they will find you.

    I had another leader find me in a post I made in facebook. It was about becoming successful when you become the person you were always meant to be. I got a resounding YES! from Aaron Rashkin, a million dollar earner.

    The say you will earn the average of the 5 people you hang around the most. Why? success leaves clues!

    I met Melissa after the event in Washington D.C., her story on stage about not having a supportive family really resonated with me. I went up and gave her a big hug after I introduced myself of course.

    When you go to our events, be polite as you would with any millionaire you met, and ask to have a picture taken. Why because their success transfers to you. You are learning how to be successful from 6 and 7 figure earners. You are taking your business seriously. Success leaves clues.

    The funny thing is I have never met Aaron Rashkin in person yet. It has all been Internet interaction. That is the power of the Internet!

  2. You are building a business online. With every blog post, you are building your online empire. They act like little sales robots.
  3. You do not get from zero to sixty in sixty seconds in this business. David Sharp said that in the Inner Circle audios.

    Dave Wood shared in Orlando at our last event that he had over 800 blog posts in the beginning. So do not think you will become rich overnight. You will have to put all these sales robots out there.

    Remember 80% of what you do on the Internet will fail. 20% will succeed. When you find that 20% scale it up.

    I tell people this when I am talking to them when they first buy from you. Always talk to your customers on the phone or by Skype. You will get much better engagement when you do. Since they already bought from you they are more than willing to take the phone or skype call.

  4. paid advertising is a way to build a big list and know your market. Know what they like and do not like. When you create your marketing and advertising that excites first, then educates, then inspires, you will then be able to share your vision.

Add an aspect of fun into your marketing. Remember 95% of people in the World are trying to escape from a life they do not like. Make it fun for them to follow you, begin to know like and trust you, and eventually, sometimes after 2 years( according to Dave Wood -Inner Circle Audios) of being on your list they will buy from you as soon as they trust you and as soon as they are ready with resources to be able to buy from you.

Keep your job or part-time job or you may have to get a job to get some tools and training materials that will allow you to build a business of your dreams.
